Recently, a topic of discussion in the Telugu film industry has been the change of heroines in the films Adivi Sesh is working on. Initially, Shruti Haasan was cast as the leading lady for Dacoit, but after completing two schedules, she was replaced by Mrunal Thakur. It is reported that minor differences between the hero and heroine led to this change. Additionally, Shruti Haasan was said to have reluctantly agreed to the project, which might have led to her exit.
Currently, Mrunal Thakur is playing the lead opposite Adivi Sesh in Dacoit. In a similar situation, Goodachari 2 also saw a heroine change. Initially, Bantiya Sandhu was cast for the role, but for personal reasons, she had to opt out of the project. She was replaced by Wamika Gabbi, who has already participated in the film’s schedule. After the Bhuj schedule, the makers decided to go with Wamika for the role.
The film is being shot as a spy thriller and has already completed its European schedule with Wamika Gabbi. Produced under the banners of People Media Factory, Abhishek Agarwal Arts, and AK Entertainments by TG Vishwa Prasad and Abhishek Agarwal, the movie will be released as a pan-Indian film in Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam.
