Venkatesh is all set to captivate audiences with his upcoming fun thriller Sankranthiki Vasthunam. Directed by Anil Ravipudi, the film stars Aishwarya Rajesh and Meenakshi Chaudhary as the leading ladies. The recently released theatrical trailer has received a positive response. During the promotional phase, Anil Ravipudi shared an interesting insight about the film’s origin, revealing that he initially considered Megastar Chiranjeevi for the lead role.
Anil Ravipudi mentioned, “I was initially planning a film with Dil Raju Garu. After working on a serious subject like Bhagavath Kesari, I wanted to return to my strength, which is comedy. I also wanted the film to be distinct from F2 and F3. That’s when the idea struck me—what if a man embarks on an adventure with his wife and ex-girlfriend?”
He further added, “At first, I thought about doing this film with Megastar Chiranjeevi Garu, but he was already committed to other projects. Since I wanted to release the film for Sankranthi, I approached Venky Garu and narrated the story to Chiranjeevi Garu.”
Anil Ravipudi also said, “The concept excited me immensely. It could be done with either a senior or a young hero, but the screenplay would change depending on the choice of actor. Venky Garu and I have a strong connection, which made the shooting process very comfortable. Thankfully, I’m also working with Chiranjeevi Garu on another film.”
