Akkineni star Naga Chaitanya has dedicated over a year to Thandel, the most expensive film of his career, which is set for release on February 7. Meanwhile, he has already begun working on his next project, a mystic thriller directed by Virupaksha fame Karthik Varma Dandu.
The team has reportedly shortlisted Vrushakarma as a potential title for the film. Much like Virupaksha, Vrushakarma is a distinctive and intriguing title. However, the makers are still evaluating whether it will appeal to the masses. While the final title is yet to be confirmed, Vrushakarma remains a strong contender.
Meenakshi Chaudhary plays the female lead, and the film is being jointly produced by Sri Venkateswara Cine Chitra and Sukumar Writings. Acclaimed composer Ajaneesh Loknath is on board for the music and background score.
The movie is expected to hit theaters by the end of 2025. In the meantime, Naga Chaitanya will take a short break from filming to focus on promoting Thandel.
