In a recent interview, producer Ashwini Dutt confirmed that the movie will commence shooting this June. He also revealed that the sequel will surpass the first installment in terms of scale, visuals, and storytelling.
This time, the story will primarily revolve around three key characters – Prabhas, Kamal Haasan, and Amitabh Bachchan. Meanwhile, Deepika Padukone will continue to play a significant role, just as she did in the first part.
