Legendary music composer and Oscar winner AR Rahman is making his return to Telugu cinema after a long hiatus. He is composing the music for Ram Charan’s upcoming film, tentatively titled RC16, which is being directed by Uppena’s Buchi Babu Sana. The filming is currently in progress, and reports suggest that the pan-Indian film will be released by the end of this year. Rahman has already completed three tracks for the movie, with the songs ready for release. For his work on RC16, the legendary composer is charging a hefty sum of Rs 8 crores, a significant fee for a music composer. The production team has agreed to this quoted amount.

Ram Charan plays the role of an athlete in this sports drama, with Janhvi Kapoor as the leading lady. Sukumar is overseeing the script, while the film is being produced by Vriddhi Cinemas, Mythri Movie Makers, and Sukumar Writings. A major portion of the shoot is taking place in a specially constructed village set in Hyderabad. The makers are investing heavily in the film, and Ram Charan is also commanding a substantial remuneration for his role.
