If the latest buzz from Tollywood is to be believed, an exciting multi-starrer featuring Kollywood superstars Suriya and Dhanush is in the works. Reports suggest that Venky Atluri, the director behind back-to-back ₹100 crore grossers SIR and Lucky Baskhar, will be helming this ambitious project.
The film is tentatively titled Honest Raj, with Dhanush taking on the lead role. While Suriya’s character is said to be significant, it remains unclear whether he will play a full-fledged role or make an extended cameo. The speculation surrounding this collaboration has thrilled fans of both National Award-winning actors, but an official confirmation is still awaited.
Meanwhile, Suriya is gearing up for the release of his 44th film, Retro, a romantic crime drama directed by Karthik Subbaraj and co-starring Pooja Hegde. The film is set to hit theaters worldwide on May 1, 2025. Dhanush, on the other hand, is preparing for the release of Kubera, directed by Sekhar Kammula, which is expected to arrive in the first half of this year.
