After her recent role in the Telugu film Satyabhama, star actress Kajal Aggarwal is gearing up for several high-profile projects, including Indian 3, Sikandar, and Kannappa. Today, she added a new Bollywood film to her lineup: The India Story.
Directed by Chetan DK, the film officially commenced shooting today. Shreyas Talpade, known for his portrayal of Atal Bihari Vajpayee in Kangana Ranaut’s Emergency and his voice work for Allu Arjun in Pushpa 2, takes on the lead role in this intense drama.
Exploring the dark side of pesticide scandals, The India Story is written by Sagar B. Shinde, who is also the producer of the film. Scheduled for release on August 15, 2025, more details about the project are expected to be revealed soon.
