Kollywood superstar Suriya’s highly anticipated film Retro: Love, Laughter, War is set to make waves this year. The movie stars Pooja Hegde as the female lead, directed by Karthik Subbaraj. The film generated significant buzz when its shooting was completed in an impressive three-month period.
Today, the makers of Retro revealed on social media that the film will release worldwide on May 1, making it a special May Day treat for fans. The announcement poster showcases Suriya in a fierce look, holding a weapon and ready for a dramatic battle.
This marks Suriya’s 44th film in his career. The movie also features Shriya Saran in a special song, with Prakash Raj and Mollywood actor Joju George playing pivotal roles in this high-budget romantic action drama. The music for the film is composed by Santhosh Narayanan, and it is being produced by Suriya and Jyothika’s 2D Entertainment, in collaboration with Kaarthekeyen Santhanam and Kalyan Subramanian’s Stone Bench Creations.
